For the warehouse position at this company, women get the easy job!
Men who take the job will work themselves to death, while the foreign warehouse workers there have it even easier than the Taiwanese employees.
The goods are heavy, and you frequently have to move iron and aluminum products. Men working there as warehouse staff also have to stack goods and make deliveries—getting soaked in the rain and exposed to the sun on hot days. The foreign warehouse workers inside do not have to do these tasks; they only package aluminum materials. The work assignments are extremely unfair. Women working as warehouse staff only handle computer and clerical work and prepare materials in the air conditioning, yet receive the same pay as men despite doing vastly different work! This company favors women over men.
In my personal opinion, if you are considering working there as warehouse staff, don't go—it is very tiring. The foreign workers get the easy jobs, and the treatment is very unfair.
The supervisors side with the foreign workers!
Lunch boxes are provided free by the company, but they taste terrible. If you don't mind the food, they will at least fill you up.
There are no advantages to mention, so I have only written about the disadvantages.
1. Eating is very hot.
2. The foreign warehouse workers have it easier than the Taiwanese warehouse staff.
Sometimes the foreign warehouse workers are unwilling to help when the Taiwanese warehouse staff need assistance…
3. If you want to earn overtime pay there, I advise you not to go, because overtime opportunities are given to the foreign workers first, while Taiwanese employees can only leave work on time.
4. For deliveries, you have to stack the goods yourself—and on top of that, the truck's air conditioning does not cool properly, so you sweat while driving.
After working there for one week, you are required to wear the company uniform. However, if you resign before completing one year, you have to pay for it yourself, which is very frustrating.
5. It is inconvenient to drive and park, and there is no rain shelter for scooters, so you get soaked directly when it rains.
