1. Administrative staff cannot leave the company during lunch. You have to answer the phone during your lunch break, and if a delivery arrives, you must receive it as well. You will definitely be interrupted if you sleep during your lunch break.

2. No overtime pay is provided.

3. There are no so-called bonuses for the three major holidays. There is no bonus or gift box for the Mid-Autumn Festival. After one year of service, the year-end bonus is less than half a month’s salary, and the back-to-work red envelope is NT$600.

4. You cannot arrange your annual leave yourself. The company will schedule annual leave during the week of the Mid-Autumn Festival long weekend. With annual leave and national holidays combined, you will usually get 8–9 days off. If you have been employed for less than one year, annual leave is granted in advance and will be deducted after you complete one year. Sometimes government-designated makeup holidays are also directly offset against your annual leave.

5. After joining the company, you must provide a certificate of good conduct, a health examination, and National Health Insurance information. The NT$900 health examination subsidy is only provided after you have completed three months of employment.

6. You cannot use your mobile phone during work hours unless it is an emergency.
