At first, everything was good. The coworkers were fairly friendly, and you could chat and joke around at work.

After working there for a while, I found that the two supervisors were not on the same page. The front-of-house and back-of-house work at completely different paces. When there are not many customers, the front-of-house staff can still chat loudly, while the back-of-house staff are extremely busy—truly, equal work for unequal pay.

Although there is a promotion examination four times a year, you have to use your own off-hours to return to headquarters for classes beforehand. Basically, you need to attend seven classes. The classes are held in odd-numbered months; if you do not register for a class, you will have to come back next time.

After deductions for labor and health insurance, the take-home pay is around 24,000. You have to arrive at the company 10 minutes early. If you fail to arrive early more than three times (including the third time), you will have to clean out the grease trap for seven days. If it happens more than six days, you will have to clean it for another seven days, and so on.

I recommend that only people with a strong tolerance for subservience apply.
