Applying for the Digital Marketing Specialist position

1. The job responsibilities were explained very clearly (exactly as posted on 104).

2. The company calls itself an American company and says it will fire unsuitable employees, so there is no need to worry about encountering coworkers who slack off (this really is very American).

3. Even without experience, the supervisor is willing to give you a chance and teach you. They set daily goals and monitor progress, so it feels like you can learn quite a lot, such as various Adobe graphic design software, digital advertising placement, and DSLR photography, among other things. (The starting salary is only 26K; after the probationary period, it may increase to 28K depending on performance.)

4. Free coffee, snacks, and so on are provided upon joining.

5. The interview felt like just a formality. In reality, if you are willing to work, they are willing to hire you. Sometimes you may be assigned to work as a secretary in a community. If you are in a hurry to make money and do not mind the security industry, people who are sufficiently submissive and have a strong masochistic streak might like this job 🤗

Following up on the above~

1. Women, beware! The (male) interviewer seemed very concerned about female applicants’ romantic and marital status. During the interview, he asked at least three times whether I had a boyfriend and whether I was married. Apparently, what they want is for you to continue devoting yourself to learning after work. If you are a wife or mother applying, then emmmmm...

2. I was asked twice to pull down my mask so he could look at me. On one occasion, he asked whether I was wearing makeup, and later said something like, “For women looking for work, being pretty gives you a big advantage; if you’re not good-looking, then you have to rely on your abilities.” So this is actually recruiting female PR staff? I thought it was recruiting a Digital Marketing Specialist 🤗

3. If you have no experience, the interviewer will first humiliate you, then say that he prefers hiring people without experience because experienced people overlook learning. (One more thing: the salary offered was completely different from the amount posted on 104~)

4. The application form completed before the interview stated that employees who leave within seven days will not be paid. So if you feel during the interview that the job is unsuitable, don’t force yourself to stay, or you may leave with nothing 🤗

5. I speak in a relatively calm and organized manner, but the male interviewer questioned whether I was ill. (Apparently, people who speak quickly are highly valued.) When I mentioned a weakness while discussing my strengths and weaknesses, he also asked why it was that way (for example, “Why are you relatively introverted?”). Come one, come all—people who feel their lives lack excitement and enjoy helping others, hurry and apply~ After every sentence, the interviewer would ask, “Does what I said make sense?” Come satisfy his need for a sense of accomplishment~ A conversation with him is guaranteed never to have an awkward silence!

6. You barely get a chance to speak during the entire interview; even when answering questions, you will be interrupted.

7. The company appears to have fewer than ten employees, mostly young women. After joining, you will have no other coworker responsible for the same work as you, so all the pressure will be on you. The interviewer will be your direct supervisor, so assess for yourself whether you can accept having this kind of manager~

8. Although it calls itself an American company, it still has the typical old-school boss attitude. There is no overtime pay either~ Sometimes you can take compensatory leave for supporting events on Saturdays, but that is all 😉 (And they still don’t respect women!?)

9. If you are submissive enough and have a strong masochistic streak, come experience it~ It will completely overturn your image of foreign companies.
