I’ve been gone for several years, and I’ve always known that the boss cares a lot about the reviews here.
A few years ago, former employees left comments here exposing the inside story—for example, how terrible the personnel management was, how thin-skinned the boss was, and how unfair the sales and execution processes were, among other things.
But now I’ve come back to look, and they’re all gone?!
It’s truly amazing—magic.
But the company originally got its start as an online astroturfing operation, so I suppose this isn’t all that surprising.
To repeat the old saying: working in sales at this company is the right choice.
The boss came up through sales, so you’ll only have a chance to perform if you’re in sales.
If you become a PM and work yourself to the bone, the boss will still think you don’t seem serious about your work and won’t give you a raise.
