1. You need to bring your own résumé to the interview, and once you arrive, you will also have to fill out another company résumé.
(On the back is a translation test, mainly translating content from the website. All the answers are in the website DM.)
2. The internal screening involves age and gender discrimination for the position—I’m giving you a warning in advance.
(If you are male, too old, or too talkative, you are very likely to be rejected.)
3. You will then proceed to the self-introduction stage. If the position is in sales or website-related, the interview ends after the first interview with the boss.
If it is an accounting or cashier position, there will be an additional interview with the factory manager.
*Because the factory manager is only in the office in the morning (9:00–12:00), accounting and cashier applicants will always be scheduled for morning interviews.
4. At the beginning of the interview, you will notice the office environment and the boss’s attitude. The office is located in a residence, and the entrance is difficult to find on Google. It only shows the scenery at the park entrance; you need to walk into the park and look along the pedestrian path on the left to find it.
If you can accept that, you will next face a terrifying challenge.
What salary are you asking for?
You can name your own amount; the bottom-line range is NT$40,000–60,000.
Have you done this kind of work before, or do you have relevant experience?
Just answer according to what is stated on your résumé.
1. Do not go—this place is a complete disaster! Once you start working there, the job is completely different from the duties described above.
Every day, you have to revise the DM copy, text size, colors, fonts, and layout according to the boss’s preferences. You will have to handle domestic and international sales work as well as the boss’s miscellaneous tasks—it will completely overturn what you expected.
2. They want to run Google keyword ads and require you to click and verify, as well as obtain unreasonable information such as the IP addresses and company details of people who purchase or click.
3. The boss is nearly 90 years old. He uses his own reasoning as the logic governing the world. At work, expressing things, explaining them, handling results, contacting third parties, and so on are all like playing music to a deaf ear. You also need to be mentally strong enough to endure sarcasm and scolding.
4. The company uses pirated systems and pirated software, which could result in being sued and facing legal action! I have already suffered from this myself!
I genuinely advise anyone who is completely out of options and considering taking the job to think twice.
