Location: Near Taipei's East District and MRT stations, with fairly convenient transportation
Office: The office's décor and atmosphere are both quite good
Interviewers: The vice president and the boss
An overambitious company’s future and goals: The two executives are full of boundless imagination and hope for the future, but regarding the vision they have mapped out and its execution, I believe there are many contradictions and difficulties in implementation.
Lack of strategic thinking: The questions asked by the two interviewers were not very high-level and focused more on the operational level. The management style felt like micromanagement. They seemed proud of the company’s current performance and self-congratulatory, but I could not hear any particularly outstanding insights or strategies from them regarding the company or the industry.
Ambiguity in the organization and R&R: The work content and organizational structure were even more unclear. The two executives could not clearly describe how the organization was divided or the responsibilities (territories) assigned to those under them. It felt like the work organization was unclear. If the top decision-makers are like this, one can imagine that frontline employees would face many issues, such as unclear responsibilities, duplicated work, conflicts, and low efficiency.
Management: Excessively based on personal authority; decisions are mostly determined by whatever the vice president and boss say. It reflects a typical Taiwanese business mindset, lacking clear SOPs and management principles.
In summary, this is a small company. If you have better opportunities to choose from, I really do not recommend it!
