1. Maybe because I applied for a more senior position, the interviewer asked many questions about communication and coordination between departments, as well as my past experience handling such matters. They also gave me situational questions and asked how I would handle them. It felt like the company has a complete plan for developing employees into managerial roles.
2. During the first half of the interview, we mainly talked about many aspects of the job and its professional requirements. I say “talked” because it was quite different from interviews I had experienced in the past. Previous interviews were more formulaic: the interviewer asked one question at a time, and I answered one at a time. This time, I felt that I was guided through the conversation and ended up talking about almost all of my past project experience XD
3. The role involves managing several different platforms simultaneously. Based on the interviewer’s description, it seems quite substantial and feels like it could broaden my skill set.
1. We have to take turns sweeping the floor... That was a little unexpected, but since it only happens once in a while, it’s still okay and acceptable.
2. I’m not sure whether there were simply fewer people in the office on the day of my interview or what, but it was incredibly quiet. I personally like a lively atmosphere and chatting loudly with colleagues. However, this disadvantage might be an advantage for some people.
3. You can tell the building is quite old, but fortunately, the inside of the office is still okay.
