Let me roughly share about this amazing company.
This is an agency company registered in Taiwan (with all kinds of business lines within it).
It sells appliances, and has also launched separate brands for masks and blenders.
You can come into contact with different industries, which means that if you work in sales or graphic design, you will handle more than one brand.
When the same holiday comes around, you have to simultaneously carry out promotions for different brands and product categories.
So this is very interesting, and the working environment is very good ??? Good ???
Let’s first talk about the only advantage among this company’s supervisors.
If you are assigned to work under a male supervisor, I believe you will gain a great deal. Whether in terms of knowledge or work attitude, he is very patient and will teach you. His work abilities are also beyond question, and he has language skills and a professional attitude. If you follow his guidance, you will discover only two things:
1: This supervisor is truly excellent, and working with him really puts you at ease.
2: Compared with the other two, it will “place this content in the disadvantages section.”
Let’s discuss this in three parts:
First, there are surveillance cameras inside the company, on every office floor (including the elevators). This is very reasonable: it protects the company’s property and personal safety, allowing employees to feel very secure at work. It is also very reasonable for the boss to watch the cameras, after all, the assets are all there.
However, this is a family business!!! A family business!!! A family business!!!
In other words, if you randomly picked five people in the company, one of them would be a member of their family. That in itself is not a problem, but what exactly are the cameras being used to watch? That is where things get extraordinary.
The boss does not pay much attention to them, and even if the boss does, that would be reasonable. But this is a family business, and there is a senior executive with nothing better to do who watches the surveillance cameras for fun from time to time, then calls the relevant department whenever she thinks something is wrong. I do not know what someone who treats the surveillance cameras (which also have audio recording) as entertainment does at work. She spends her time picking on employees, showing remarkable psychological stamina. As long as something does not suit her, she starts causing trouble. Since I joined, no one has ever introduced her or had any contact with me, yet she watches your words and actions as “entertainment” and is very good at finding fault.
Employees considering the job should think: “Everywhere you go, there will be an unrelated senior executive looking for faults in you.” Speaking of finding fault, if you know what the other person is doing, then finding fault can be well-founded and reasonable. But unfortunately, 60% of the people who pick on you are idiots; they simply do not like the way you look (only at this company). As for that senior executive, she is a very typical example: she does not know what employees are doing, speaks according to perceptions from the 1970s and 1980s, and holds the power of authority, so every word she says carries weight?
That is the company’s “surveillance-camera custom.”
Furthermore, because this is a family business, some employees truly have great substance, knowledge, and marketing ability, and the things they do can generate a lot of positive feedback. However, unfortunately, poor communication creates enormous trouble for employees: they will simply throw out one sentence. A case is handed over three hours before the end of the workday, awaiting a response. Unfortunately, that supervisor will only say something three minutes before the end of the workday, and after speaking, will not stay to revise it with you. She just picks up her things and leaves, giving the employee tremendous “positive feedback.”
Let’s return to that senior executive. That executive’s child also works at this company, and after getting to know them, you can clearly feel the arrogance of someone protected by maternal love. The kind of person who has never been tempered by society and speaks rudely to people (especially when impatient). However, everyone is very clever: seeing that her family member is that “super senior executive,” they all choose to silently endure it.
The company’s turnover rate is very high. As for why it is high, you will know once you join.
But do not forget that this company does still have advantages.
