Pros

Because of the pandemic, the company offered video interviews to safeguard the health and safety of both parties.

The interview was conducted using the 104 app. The process was somewhat inconvenient, as the video system occasionally caused both parties to be unable to hear each other.

The entire interview lasted approximately 20 minutes.

Because it was conducted by video, I did not actually see the company’s environment.

I only know that the company is located in the Douliu Industrial Park (work address: No. 3, Dougong 16th Road, Douliu City, Yunlin County).

At the official start of the interview, I first spoke with HR, who confirmed that the equipment and communication were working properly. The interview then began.

Afterward, HR handed the camera over to the accountant.

After asking a few simple questions (previous work experience, why I applied for the position, and whether I had used an ERP system), the accountant explained that the position’s primary responsibility would be accounts receivable.

**The company mainly sells pet-related products through physical stores and multiple e-commerce platforms.

This position is responsible for confirming and collecting accounts receivable from e-commerce channels.

Work arrangements/benefits:

1. Two days off per week; holidays off when they fall on the calendar.

2. Gifts or cash bonuses for the three major holidays, performance bonuses, annual bonuses, and employee trips.

3. Probationary period: three months, with a salary of NT$28,000.

(The salary may be adjusted after the probationary period, depending on the circumstances.)

4. Salary is evaluated and adjusted each year based on work performance and circumstances.

(HR said the boss is very easygoing and also adjusts salaries from time to time.)

5. Working hours: 9:00–18:00.

(One-hour lunch break; no meals provided. Employees may go out or bring their own lunch.)

6. Overtime is generally not required.

(The boss lives upstairs from the company and does not like people working overtime.)

HR said there are two cats and two dogs in the company, and employees can play with them.

Cons

HR said the company’s minor drawback is that there are biting midges.
