1. In most departments, you can get away with slacking off—using your phone, watching shows, and browsing online shops during work hours.
1. The workplace culture is terrible: 99 out of 100 colleagues slack off, shirk responsibility, and have no desire to improve.
2. The performance evaluation system is opaque. Outstanding employees receive worse evaluations than those who slack off, while HR deliberately keeps labor costs low and blocks promotions.
3. The annual pay increase isn’t enough to buy a lunchbox—approximately one-tenth of that at a typical medical center.
4. Most supervisors devote their energy to factional infighting.
5. They lure newcomers in with a seemingly reasonable starting salary, then severely cut corners on pay. Employees are treated as disposable tools.
6. Senior administrative management only likes to make grand promises and hear pleasing words, without taking any real action.
