The company is near Daqiaotou MRT Station.
1. The HR interviewer had short hair and a very poor attitude.
2. The interview questions were ridiculous. For the calculation questions, they gave only 30 seconds to calculate. There was also an old exam question about taking apart a box, along with a bunch of other questions I had no idea about. The time limits were all very short. There was really no need to prepare for questions like these; they had nothing to do with professional ability.
3. I knew that this company's purchasing positions were frequently posted, and now I finally understand why: because overtime is required every day. During the interview, the supervisor explicitly stated the latest time they could accept employees working overtime. It is a fixed-responsibility system.
They said that if there was something urgent, leaving at 6:30 p.m. after finishing work at 6:00 p.m. would be fine, but normally you should try to finish your work, and leaving at 8 or 9 p.m. is the norm.
4. The job description on 104 looked very simple, so there were a lot of applicants. Naturally, HR's attitude was also worse, and the supervisor considered overtime normal.
5. I thought the salary would be pretty good since overtime was required, but I was wrong. The purchasing specialist position listed a salary of NT$30,000 to NT$50,000, but in reality they would only offer you a little over NT$30,000. Hello? Are even Taiwanese companies of somewhat significant size really this arrogant? Maybe many people can accept it, so the boss does not think this is a problem.
5. The turnover rate is very high, and the position appears frequently.
