Pros

I worked at Juntendo for a little over three years, which is considered a long time for someone my age. I genuinely enjoyed being part of the Juntendo family, and everyone in each department was easy to get along with. I resigned because I planned to move abroad.

The company has a long history and very well-established systems. The employee welfare committee frequently organizes activities and prepares gifts. Every year, the company also gives us the small delight of not requiring make-up workdays, and provides colleagues with defensive and health-preserving teas to drink. In addition, since I have been taking the company’s products for a long time, I can purchase them at very favorable prices XD

The company’s managers and senior executives are forward-thinking and easy to get along with. They are willing to spend time communicating with employees, so employees can understand market trends and the company’s direction. This makes work more than just an individual task; it allows employees to truly integrate into the company and understand why each thing is being done.

I worked in the Foreign Trade Department, whose pace was faster compared with other departments. Based on my personal experience, there should be no problems as long as you can coordinate well with your colleagues and supervisor. I personally have a strong desire for opportunities to grow and learn, so I was very happy that my supervisor was willing to give me opportunities, provide guidance, and trust me. Even newcomers to the workplace were given plenty of opportunities to learn and perform. In my first year, I was already responsible for important clients, and I made several domestic business trips and two overseas business trips. Later, business travel decreased because of the pandemic.

Colleagues in the department were capable and easy to get along with. We would eat lunch together, and if anyone encountered a problem, everyone would work together to solve it instead of leaving you to handle it alone. Most importantly, don’t be afraid to ask questions. The department also frequently went out for meals together, which helped strengthen our internal bonds~

After more than three years, I could feel how much I had changed and grown. I have also maintained good relationships with my colleagues since leaving. Of course, in addition to passion for the industry, work also needs incentives. Newcomers who are fortunate enough to join this department can look forward to the Lunar New Year bonus!

Cons

The department works at a relatively fast pace, so it may not be suitable for people who prefer less challenging work.
