At the very beginning, I specifically asked whether it would be suitable to attend an interview without having relevant CNC lathe or milling machine programming skills.

This was the response I received:

Hello, our production lines are divided into CNC and dedicated-machine (machine operation) lines. Most of our current employees started learning with no experience, so it is also fine if you do not have CNC programming skills.

However, when I actually went to the interview, the person responsible for receiving candidates asked again whether I had no relevant experience.

What was stated in response to the job application online was one thing, but what was said after arriving for the interview was another. In the end, I received a perfunctory reply through the job site: “Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities with our company. Unfortunately, we currently do not have a position that matches your qualifications. Thank you for contacting us.”

In reality, making someone make an unnecessary trip to attend an interview was really pointless.

When I initially submitted my résumé, I specifically asked in advance whether applicants without relevant experience would be accepted for an interview. The reply indicated that applicants without experience could come and start learning, but during the interview they started focusing on the fact that I lacked experience. In the end, they concluded that there was no suitable position. If that was the case, wasn’t inviting someone to an interview simply playing with them?
