1. Very willing to hire newcomers; no experience is acceptable.
2. They really like hiring young people, and young applicants can get hired quite easily.
1. Whether you are interviewing for a retail-store or office position, before the probationary period is over, the boss can fire you at any time just because they do not like you.
2. The boss acts entirely according to their mood. The owners are business partners and often disagree. If A thinks something is acceptable but B thinks it is not, the work will continue endlessly until both of them are satisfied at the same time.
3. The office is very small and located in a basement. The air quality is poor, and it can accommodate only four people.
4. This is a company with no systems or procedures. Even when meetings are held to discuss and arrange scheduled tasks, the boss will completely disrupt everything, making all the work done beforehand pointless.
5. The three annual bonus payments may be forgotten and are not paid on time.
6. After starting the job, the position you applied for may turn out to be different from what was described in the interview. One person is expected to take on multiple roles, including duties they are not good at, without receiving additional pay. The promised year-end salary increase will never actually happen.
7. They often look down on competitors whose businesses are doing better than theirs. The boss acts very superior and believes their company is the best.
8. Retail staff have very low base salaries, and the commissions are also low, with various deductions.
9. Even when employees want to resign, they may not be allowed to leave. They will be asked to stay and help until a replacement is hired.
10. It looks like a fairly polished and presentable company, but in reality, the company does not make money at all.
11. The female boss speaks very sarcastically. She appears to get along well with you on the surface, but privately it is a different story.
12. The boss does not know what the employees’ duties are. When new hires start, no one provides a handover, so they have to search online themselves to learn how to use the systems. The boss may even come over and ask, “Didn’t your predecessor explain it to you?”
