You can tell from my nickname that I’m not trying to whitewash anything. If you have the chance, come meet me at the company. I’ve never intended to return to the past, so let me share a bit about myself. This is my second formal job, and I’ve been here for more than a decade. How many decades does one have in a lifetime? I went from being an assistant who had to do everything to becoming a leader who still has to do everything. It’s not that the company requires me to do everything—I simply enjoy doing it. With generational differences and advancing age, I also want to ensure that the company continues operating at least until my children can come to work here. So in recent years, I’ve been working on succession planning. I’m very grateful that the company hired me when I knew nothing, and that it has continued to give me opportunities even as I’m still striving to grow in every way. I think I could write about many more advantages, but if you don’t come here, you won’t experience them for yourself. Life is a choice we make for ourselves. I want my children to join the company because I know that, at the very least, this company has helped me grow. I’m also grateful to all my colleagues for continually helping the company improve and for making the system more complete. But there is no company without problems, because a company is still operating and evolving; all we can do is keep getting better.

There are certainly many shortcomings—but who doesn’t have any? You don’t? Still, we’ll continue to improve.
