The company is fairly unique in the market, seemingly holding nationwide patents and having received some awards. It should be a profitable company. The owner is relatively young, so it is possible to discuss technical issues with him. Yes, the interview includes technical questions, such as experience using SDKs and problems encountered at previous companies, asking how I would solve them... But compared with the purely sales-oriented companies I worked for before, there is much more to it. At least, I feel I can speak frankly with the owner. Oh, and the biggest advantage is that you can choose to work from home or work flexible hours at the office, with online clock-in. This is the advantage I like most.
The requirements for engineers during the interview were a bit excessive. They require experience in system development as well as ideas about interaction design, and also require a take-home or on-site coding test and a code review. Can't I simply take the job as a stepping stone? In addition, the company is currently renovating, so it is not yet clear what the office will be like in the future. Also, the office is on the third and fourth floors, and having no elevator makes climbing the stairs somewhat tiring. There are relatively few shops near the company, so finding places to eat in the future may be a problem. However, if you choose to work remotely from home, it should not matter. Basically, I still hope I can get the job.
