I went to work at the Xinyi branch several years ago. That location has since closed, but the experience left such a deep impression that I came back to leave a review.

I only stayed for about a month, working on the pizza team in the back of house.

1. Once, during a break while I was eating the staff meal, my direct supervisor told me to stand up and yelled at me. The reason was that I hadn't called him over when I came to eat.

2. There was a heavyset chef named Luka. He was a pizza chef sent by the head office to oversee quality. He was extremely rude to new employees, as if he were the only person in all of Taipei who knew how to make pizza. I had only been there a few days and naturally didn't know how to do many things, but his attitude was terrible. I spent the entire evening working in the same station area as him, and he addressed me with profanity the whole time. He also said that I could ask him whenever there was something I didn't know, but that depended on whether he was busy.

3. There was another chef called Brother Da or Uncle Da. He also trained new employees by yelling at them. Several of the new hires in our group were driven away by his scolding; many were yelled at despite having done nothing wrong—they simply didn't know how to do something.

Perhaps none of these people still work there, but I still advise everyone not to go to this branch.
