1. I interviewed for a web front-end engineer position. When I entered the office on the day of the interview, I found the environment quite bright and spacious. After confirming with the receptionist, HR took me to a small meeting room. I filled out some information and waited for the hiring manager. The manager came in quite punctually, so I didn’t have to wait long.
2. During the interview, the hiring manager placed considerable emphasis on web design skills and understanding. I brought a laptop to show the hiring manager some of my previous designs and websites. Judging from the feedback, they seemed to think my abilities were good. We then discussed the company’s cross-departmental collaboration, team division of responsibilities, and future plans. The hiring manager seemed quite easy to get along with.
3. The hiring manager was very candid in saying that the position operates under a responsibility-based system, but working hours can be adjusted flexibly according to individual circumstances. I thought this was acceptable.
1. The hiring manager seemed to be in urgent need of manpower to handle the company’s large volume of projects. They asked about my family situation, work responsibilities, and so on, so the workload is bound to be fairly heavy. However, they also mentioned that overtime only happens occasionally. If I receive an offer, I will consider it further.
2. I commute by scooter, and HR said that parking spaces are not provided. Parking is also difficult in the surrounding area, which is quite inconvenient.
