The HR staff were polite.
1. After arriving and filling out the basic information, HR said that the staff were in a meeting and that I needed to wait a little while. In the end, the candidate was left waiting for nearly an hour.
2. At the time, the position I applied for was "Production Supervisor," but the interview questions kept focusing on R&D-related topics, and the questions were quite unprofessional. It felt like they simply wanted to fish for information. For example:
"Oh, we are developing a slimming formula. What ingredients would you use?" (Why should anyone tell you their ideas if you are not paying them for it?!)
"You worked at Company A. Is Company A's XX raw material currently for sale?" (Excuse me, my résumé clearly indicates that I left Company A at least three years ago. How would I know Company A's current situation? Besides, wouldn't it be faster to ask Company A directly to get the answer?!!)
3. At the time, the position I applied for was "Production Supervisor," but when I checked the job listing again a few days later, the title had been changed to "R&D Personnel."
This suggests two possibilities:
1. They were not genuinely hiring and were simply looking for someone to question and fish for information from.
2. The company itself does not know what kind of position it needs to fill (production management? R&D? They cannot even tell the difference).
Either way, I do not think this is an OK company. I advise everyone not to waste time going to an interview.
