1. There is no clear attendance policy; taking leave or arriving late does not result in salary deductions.
2. Ineffective, overtime meetings sometimes come with meals, drinks, or snacks (depending on the boss’s mood).
3. The boss has an immature mindset and lets coworkers who often mess up at work get away with it through coaxing and deception (from a worker’s perspective, this counts as an advantage...)
4. Claims to have a beautiful work environment (but never examines the reasons for the constant staff turnover).
1. Claims to be a startup company, yet has absolutely no rules or systems (How can a company operate like this?! Having a rich dad sure is nice.)
2. No bonuses for the three major holidays, and the year-end bonus is paid at the boss’s discretion (there are no payment standards whatsoever).
3. Managers manage entirely based on their emotions, like assigning employees work outside their actual duties and then criticizing them for it (a stereotypical exploitative boss, no doubt).
4. Topics discussed in ineffective meetings are always treated with only three minutes of enthusiasm (all talk and no action...)
5. Female employees are treated disrespectfully, with excessive physical contact (even worse after drinking).
6. The managers did not major in design-related fields, yet do not know how to respect professional expertise (they like to backseat-manage the professionals).
7. Engineering projects often begin before a contract has been signed. Changes to the design and additions or deductions during the process are also rarely signed off, often ultimately making it impossible to recover the project fees.
8. The managers refuse to take responsibility; their poor decisions exhaust employees and lead to staff turnover.
9. On the surface, there are two companies run separately by two brothers, but they frequently disagree during meetings and eventually storm out (sigh~ another ineffective meeting).
10. Seriously violates workplace smoking-prevention laws. The boss likes to smoke in their private office and places a mahjong table outside the office area for socializing, disturbing the peace of nearby residents.
