If you are applying for an occupational safety position,
do not under any circumstances let this company assign you to work at Xingda Port / under Junding as a subcontractor.
1. There is no seat for you to sit on.
2. There is a female occupational safety officer there with very poor engineering experience.
As soon as the auditor arrives, they can immediately tell the extent of her abilities.
She cannot even meet the most basic workplace safety standards.
She is very good at ordering others around as if they were her junior assistants.
All the credit goes to her, while all the blame goes to you.
Jingyang is also extremely short of occupational safety officers,
and treats her as if she were their revered mother and grandmother.
3. What was said to be a fixed worksite actually requires you to travel between both locations.
Don’t be fooled.
The worksite at the maritime base was supposed to have been completed long ago.
4. They do not provide you with a laptop.
They expect you to stand and walk around the site all day,
taking photos for that female occupational safety officer.
She only needs to hide in the office playing on the computer and using her phone.
The construction site manager is effectively a figurehead.
Experienced occupational safety professionals are strongly advised:
do not get excited just because you hear CTCI / Junding.
The client of this company does not care about subcontractors at all,
and the consulting company itself is no different.
They simply throw you onto the site to fend for yourself.
