1. The company focuses on games and digital content. The interviewers also briefly introduced the company’s vision for the future. They asked about my previous work experience, had me introduce a few projects I had handled in the past, and asked why I left my previous job—basically, the kinds of things typically asked in an interview. Overall, they seemed quite friendly and easy to get along with.
2. There were two managers in the interview. One of them had a fairly good understanding of advertising campaigns, possibly because he had managed them himself before. I was able to discuss my previous operating logic and A/B testing methods with him, and the questions he asked were also reasonably sophisticated. At least it wasn’t like a previous interview I had at another company, where I spent ages explaining things to someone who completely didn’t understand and still couldn’t follow along = =
1. The company is in the city center, so it’s fairly convenient to get there by public transportation (there are many buses, and it’s next to the Green Line MRT), but if you ride a scooter, you’ll probably have to go around a bit to find a parking spot.
2. The interviewer mentioned at the end that there are quite a lot of local eateries nearby, but you do have to walk a little. With only an hour for lunch, you’ll need to plan carefully so you don’t run out of time.
3. If you’re looking for the kind of office that’s luxurious, modern, high-tech, and has the vibe of a tech startup, this isn’t it. At most, it’s clean and tidy.
