The old boss is very good to the employees, providing lots of food, afternoon tea, snacks, drinks, and so on.
The workplace atmosphere is very poor. The old manager abuses their power and exploits gray areas. Those who go along with them can have a very pleasant time; everyone else is either given a hard time or has fault found with their work.
The senior employees are awful. The senior female employee is very good at snatching business and sees only profit. Even when she aggressively pushes products on customers in the store, everyone only talks about it behind her back.
One senior employee with a buzz cut thinks he is still in the military and wants to impose a seniority system, not realizing that everyone looks down on him. He also abuses his power and bullies newcomers.
Other senior employees either refuse to accept prescriptions or neglect their assigned areas. What is especially odd is that they also like to criticize others for not accepting prescriptions.
The senior female employee sitting in the back, the chubby one, is really arrogant. She has a bunch of underlings, talks very loudly, and is always right while everyone else is wrong. Normally, when she is not busy, she plays on her phone in her chair; after being busy for a moment, she says, “I never even have time to go to the bathroom.” She is late to work every day, and on top of that, she can eat breakfast in the basement—what a great deal!
The company’s system is very poor and is controlled and manipulated by a few people. The method for calculating annual leave has never been clear, and there is no sick leave (even though the company sells medicine).
