非常機車有限公司
Pros

1. Labor and health insurance + 6% labor pension contribution (not during the first month)

2. Leave is slightly better than at other companies in the industry: semi-skilled technicians and above start with 7 days; accountants or apprentices start with 8 days (additional leave is provided for holidays in the month, but the system keeps changing)

3. Paid annual leave is available

4. Compared with the terrible bosses at other companies in the industry, this place is a tiny bit better, but it is still several centuries away from being legal

5. Music can be played for listening

6. A meager bonus (truly very meager, unless performance is exceptionally good)

Cons

1. Long working hours (basically 11 hours or more)

2. No meals provided (companies in this industry generally provide meals). Note: They claim to provide a daily meal allowance of 70 per meal, but it is actually deducted from your monthly salary (a scam!)

3. Parking is difficult; the locations are generally in places where it is hard to find a spot

4. No break time (you have to start working as soon as you finish eating)

5. Low salary, few bonuses, high demands, and a great many rules

6. They claim to subsidize certification expenses, but only provide bonuses for the three major holidays (even those depend on performance; if performance targets are not met, there is no holiday bonus). Unlike some auto shops, which simply add several thousand each month

7. Everyone has to do morning exercises every morning?

8. Approximately 30–50 customers per day at minimum; the work is very demanding and exhausting

9. There are more and more rules, and they inevitably result in salary deductions. There are more penalty rules than bonus rules, and money gets deducted at the slightest issue (e.g., NT$5,000 deducted for using a mobile phone. Each technician is required to install at least 30 extremely annoying advertising signs on vehicles every month. Falling short means a deduction of NT$100 per missing sign; meeting the target earns only NT$10 per sign. What a rip-off. There are also deductions for deficiencies, starting at NT$100 each time.)

10. The environment is filthy and chaotic.... Air pollution is also particularly severe. When you get home, a tissue used to wipe your face comes away black

11. You have to provide your own tools

12. Performance matters enormously (everything is based on performance. If you fail to meet targets, they nag you every day until you eventually have to lie to get by. With a base salary of NT$25,250, you need at least NT$180,000–200,000 in monthly sales, approximately 14–15%, before you receive a performance bonus. If you fail to meet the target, you can only receive the base salary, and they also deduct money at the slightest excuse.)

13. You have to work against your conscience (they constantly teach you how to rip off customers: even if something is not broken, they insist on replacing it. A repair that should cost a thousand or so gets inflated to nearly ten thousand)

14. Days off are assigned according to a rotating schedule

In the end, I strongly advise against coming here, unless you start as an apprentice (or genuinely have no other choice), and then resign once you become a semi-skilled technician. Otherwise, the performance requirements, rules, and everything else will become unbearable.

If you fail to meet performance targets, you receive only the base salary and may even have money deducted. Turnover is extremely high, and they are severely understaffed. Be warned: the skill level of each technician is not necessarily consistent
