花意空間花苑
Pros

It’s convenient to go to the Xinyi District after work.

Overtime is easy to report.

You can be late for up to 60 minutes a month and still receive perfect-attendance pay.

Cons

I’ve worked at quite a few companies, and this one is the most absurd.

The boss is extremely self-important and thinks everyone in Taiwan should know who he is (so, who exactly is he?). Mainland Chinese thinking permeates the entire company, yet the salary is even lower than what his employees in mainland China earn—what a joke.

Their ideas are extremely “forward-thinking”; they believe Taiwan is very backward compared with mainland China, and they constantly use mainland Chinese terminology.

On the surface, they pretend nothing is wrong, but if they dislike you privately, they will team up with your supervisor to make things difficult for you. Remember to put on your professional smile—the boss will like you.

Responsibilities are poorly defined. It is routine to do work outside your position. Even though it is an office role, you are still expected to act as a retail store clerk, and may even have to help with wedding setup, run errands, make deliveries, and move heavy objects.

The work is extremely miscellaneous—you might think you were hired to do odd jobs!

The supervisor also speaks with very little logic, typically saying whatever comes to mind. There are endless problems; often, before one issue has even been discussed, they raise another. Nothing ever gets resolved. They love asking questions right before the end of the workday and dragging things past quitting time, or only telling you near the end of the day what must be completed that day. The supervisor is a supervisor only because, at this unbelievably awful company with absolutely no systems, they have managed to stay for more than ten years 🥰

As for year-end banquets and spring dinners, I’ve never heard of them. There are no holiday bonuses either.

Employee benefits: Labor and health insurance.

In short, if you’re thinking of joining, please think twice. It’s simply a waste of time.
