花意空間花苑
Pros

It’s convenient to go window-shopping in Xinyi District after work.

Overtime is easy to report.

You can be late by up to 60 minutes a month and still receive the perfect attendance bonus.

Cons

I’ve worked at so many companies, and this one is by far the most ridiculous.

The boss is extremely self-important and thinks everyone in Taiwan should know who he is (so, who exactly is he?). Mainland Chinese thinking permeates the entire company, yet the pay is even lower than what his employees in mainland China receive—what a joke.

His ideas are extremely “forward-thinking”; he believes Taiwan is backward compared with mainland China, and he constantly uses mainland Chinese terminology.

On the surface, he pretends everything is fine, but if he dislikes you privately, he’ll team up with your supervisor to make things difficult for you. Remember to put on your workplace smile—the boss will like you very much.

Responsibilities are poorly defined. It’s normal to be assigned work outside your position. Even though it’s an office role, you’re still expected to work as a retail store clerk, and even help with wedding setup, handle outside errands, deliver goods, and move heavy objects.

The work is extremely miscellaneous. You’d think you came here to do odd jobs!

The supervisor also speaks very illogically—a typical “says whatever comes to mind” type. There are endless problems; they often bring up the next question before the current one has even been discussed to completion, so nothing ever gets fully resolved. They love asking questions right before the end of the workday and dragging things past quitting time, or only telling you what needs to be completed that day right before the end of the workday. The supervisor is a supervisor only because, at this unbelievably awful company with absolutely no system, they’ve managed to stay for over ten years 🥰

As for year-end banquets and spring dinners, I’ve never heard of them. There are no gifts or bonuses for the three traditional holidays either.

Employee benefits: Labor and health insurance.

In short, if you’re thinking of joining, please think twice. It’s simply a waste of time.
