You can see the various dark sides of society early on.
Basically, this is an extremely discouraging sweatshop company—a terrible company that only cares whether it is making money and completely ignores the lives and deaths of its lowest-level employees.
The company often makes grand promises but never lets you actually enjoy the benefits. It likes to shout a bunch of useless slogans about its ideals, which, as far as I’m concerned now, are nothing but a joke.
The company didn’t have many employees to begin with, and several people resigned during the time I worked there. Most didn’t even last three months. I also often saw people who came for interviews get stood up by the company. Yet the supervisors would only blame those people for being too fragile.
Basically, the company survives by relying on the personal charisma and departmental benefits provided by individual unit supervisors. The company’s senior management makes huge profits, while the company already offers almost no benefits and still frequently removes the few meager benefits that remain without notice.
The company often inexplicably makes low-level employees shoulder a pile of fabricated, ridiculous tasks. In any case, the people at the top are the ones making the money, and they don’t care at all whether the people below live or die.
After joining, you will have no quality of life whatsoever—less than five days off a month. You often have to travel to companies in other counties or cities, but the company won’t reimburse gas or tolls. Since there is no base salary, new hires often end up barely scraping by. Then the supervisors will always tell you that everything is your own problem and that young people these days are too fragile. Some supervisors also like to emotionally blackmail employees.
But they never stop to consider that the company’s training system is extremely inadequate and its sales model is excessively traditional and inflexible.
The products themselves aren’t really a problem; the problem is that the sales model belongs to a sunset industry.
The work model is very simple, but it is so overly simplistic that you can’t make any money.
You often end up working for nothing. In this age of widespread internet access, the company is still using sales methods from 20 or 30 years ago. Once management teaches you one method, they simply leave you to fend for yourself. Everything else requires you to painstakingly figure it out on your own...
According to a veteran who had worked there for more than five years before resigning, business performance is already far worse than it used to be and continues to decline. Yet the company doesn’t seem interested in improving this situation. After all, the chairman clearly doesn’t need this money; he must already be making a fortune from stocks and image rights alone.
A quick search for “Sanbei De” turns up nothing but overwhelmingly negative reviews. The supervisors even tell you not to look at them and to think in a more positive direction.
But the ugly facts are right there in front of everyone—who are they trying to fool? It’s honestly laughable.
This is truly extremely discouraging; you can’t see any future here at all.
In summary, if your family doesn’t need money, you don’t lack time, and your EQ is extremely high, then go for it!!
