I was invited to an interview by HR, only to be told that I had no relevant experience. It was completely baffling and felt like HR was just trying to meet a performance quota. Then they said that I seemed outgoing and had experience with many activities, so I probably wasn’t suited to sitting indoors and doing accounting work all the time. It was the first time I’d heard that having many activities meant being unable to accept indoor work. I was quite speechless at the time.
