I was invited to an interview by HR, only to be told that I had no relevant experience. It was simply baffling—it felt like HR was just trying to meet a performance target. Then they said that I seemed outgoing and had participated in many activities, so I probably wasn’t suitable for sitting indoors and doing bookkeeping all the time. This was the first time I’d heard that having many activities meant being unable to accept indoor work. I was honestly speechless.
