Cons

Yunding review

Working overtime every day. They will tell you that because the company is in its early startup phase, things will be relatively busy. But this is not ordinary busy; if you join now, you will only work overtime every day, with no compensatory leave and no overtime pay because the boss is unwilling to pay. Also, employees who have worked for less than a year will not receive an annual bonus, because the boss will not let you stay for more than a year anyway—just before you reach one year, they will fire you.

There are nowhere near 60 employees—only around 1X people. Starting salaries are NT$30,000–40,000, and will not go any higher (unless they are genuinely desperate for staff). A supervisor’s salary is more than twice yours. They will tell you it is because they are exceptional and that they chose to come here themselves, and tell you how impressive they used to be. But you will find that they only tell you these things verbally, without teaching or training you, while expecting you to produce work as if you were an expert despite having no experience at all.

The actual work will have almost nothing to do with what you discussed initially; you will only need a tiny amount of the skills or duties originally discussed.

The boss will seem very nice to you on the surface, but is extremely stingy. No bonuses, no bonuses, no bonuses. None of the work or time you put in will be converted into money for you. As long as there is money to be made, they will accept any job and make you do it, regardless of whether you know how. So you will just keep working overtime, because you have to teach yourself and produce professional-quality work. The supervisor will only tell you that they want to see professional work, and then leave for the day.

Under no circumstances—under no circumstances—under no circumstances should you go to an interview. It’s asking for trouble.
