Pros

I can't think of anything—perhaps the only positive is that the transportation is fairly convenient.

Cons

The environment is extremely poor. On the second and sixteenth days of each lunar month, they hold worship rituals in the building corridor. Yes, not in the building lobby, but in the corridor. The incense used for the rituals is also the really cheap kind, so every month you have to be smoked like a ham. It feels like my future salary won't even be enough to pay for medical treatment.

The boss loves watching the surveillance cameras to check whether you're obediently at your desk, whether you've properly requested leave, and whether you're late (they already deduct your pay for being late, yet they still have to monitor you specifically!).

The office environment is terrible. They are unwilling to hire cleaning staff, so everyone cleans their own workstation on Friday afternoons, and the restrooms also have to be cleaned in rotation. The water dispenser is placed right outside the men's restroom—disgusting. I don't even dare drink from it. The scrubbing sponge by the sink is black; the whole thing has gone moldy, but they still refuse to replace it.

The boss really likes hearing people flatter him. When work starts, all employees have to line up and say auspicious phrases. The only difference from a costume drama is that we don't have to kneel while saying them. If your auspicious phrases don't include things like “make a great fortune,” you'll even get feedback saying that you didn't properly ask the God of Wealth for blessings—no wonder your performance is poor!!

You have to memorize the boss's “business philosophy”; during the interview to become a permanent employee, you'll be randomly quizzed on it!! There's also a “financial management song” that has to be sung on certain occasions. We're forced to suck up to an unbearably disgusting extent.

They suspect employees all day long and don't like employees bringing their own computers to use (well, the equipment you provide is terrible), believing that employees will steal company data.

All the gift boxes for Lunar New Year and other holidays are obtained through advertising exchanges. They are completely unwilling to spend any money. I heard that even gifts intended for journalists have to be confiscated. It's absolutely laughable.
