1. No salary adjustment: I have experience in garment manufacturing and foreign-language skills. The starting salary met my expectations, but at the same time, I was told that there would be no salary adjustment during the probationary period.
2. The supervisor’s management style makes it difficult for newcomers to adapt:
- Unwilling to spend time teaching the company’s SOPs, claiming to be very busy, and requiring you to apply your previous work experience instead—then criticizing you afterward if the result does not meet their expectations.
- Within less than two months, there had already been desk pounding and instances of losing their temper and swearing.
3. Overtime is dismissed as self-development: It was openly stated in a meeting that overtime pay would only be provided for overtime worked on special assignments (which must be requested in advance); all other overtime is considered self-directed learning time.
4. Poorly specialized staffing: Employees are expected to know how to do everything, so from the outset you may be assigned to a department unrelated to your previous work experience. (Even if you learn more, you are still only paid the standard salary, and having additional skills does not result in a raise.)
