The lunch cooked by the foreign workers is pretty good.
There are absolutely no company policies or systems. Whether you get scheduled days off or overtime depends entirely on the mood of the boss and his wife.
New employees are not allowed to use their phones at work at all, even to contact someone about work matters.
There is no lunch break, and employees are not given any time to rest.
During the Ghost Festival and Lunar New Year, employees are required to work six days and take one day off.
The seniority-based system is extremely strict.
Front desk staff = sales + warehouse management + operators + movers.
Administrative staff = front desk staff + warehouse management + purchasing + accounting + general affairs.
Operators = warehouse management + drivers + electricians/plumbers.
The foreign workers have it even worse: they work 14 hours a day for six years, and are not allowed to go out during lunch breaks year-round.
The senior boss's wife is basically the empress dowager. She often scolds employees and her own daughters-in-law in front of customers and is skilled at personal attacks.
The junior boss's wife makes the most rules, likes to mock others, but holds grudges when others joke with her. She often messages employees on holidays to assign work.
The junior boss (the second generation) is a mama's boy and a wife-guy. He is incoherent when he speaks, makes chaotic work arrangements, and appears to be a nice person on the surface.
The senior boss also appears to be a nice person on the surface, but he decides employees' salaries and bonuses.
