For newcomers with limited digital marketing experience, there are many opportunities to learn about digital marketing and develop relevant skills.
A while ago, I saw the boss post on LinkedIn saying, “At least six colleagues were laid off in the latest round.” However, as far as I know, not all six of the colleagues who left were “laid off” because of capability issues or underperformance.
There are many reasons why employees leave. They may be unable to meet the company’s or manager’s expectations, feel that the company’s direction differs from their own career plans, or find that the atmosphere and promises created by the company do not match their original expectations. Since that was not actually the case, opening with the word “laid off” created the impression that the employees lacked ability. At the same time, the entire article conveyed an arrogant employer’s attitude of “what employees should do,” without reflecting on “what the boss could do to improve the company, reduce its high employee turnover, and attract more talented people.” As a boss, such a lack of grace and professionalism was deeply regrettable and disappointing to me, having previously worked in customer acquisition.
