Pros
1. You can find out immediately during the interview whether you have been hired.
2. Other than point 1, I can't think of anything else.
Cons
1. To the boss, his customers matter more than his employees—indeed, even more than his dog.
2. Employees have to run errands for him like general laborers: buy things for him, walk his dog, and clean up after his dog.
3. When his dog causes trouble, he happily chats with customers upstairs while the employee cleans up the dog's mess downstairs. Afterwards, he does not care at all about what happened.
