A very frugal company—thrift is considered a virtue. You have to bring your own toilet paper to use the restroom, and your own dish soap and sponge to wash dishes.
After joining the company after graduation and staying there for a long time, you eventually became the boss’s wife. You are a senior sales employee, and the husband and wife are deeply devoted to each other.
After moving, they bought their own office in Neihu, which could be considered an advantage.
1. The turnover rate is very high. On my first day, a colleague at the company was so angry that she accidentally let it slip that she was going to resign.
2. My predecessor decided to resign after working for only three months and handed the work over to me. After I had worked for four days, the boss told me to go home.
3. The entire company is like a warehouse, with packaging materials everywhere. It was the same even after moving to a new location.
4. The computers are terrible and keep crashing. The boss’s assistant will help you fix them.
5. The processing plant is inside the company, so an intern might be sitting next to you soldering chips.
6. Business development relies entirely on sales staff doing cold outreach. With this kind of business model, annual revenue can exceed ten million, so you can imagine how low the other employees’ salaries must be.
7. I did not make any mistakes. The boss simply regretted paying me too much and felt distressed about it, so they casually used the excuse that I did not meet the company’s needs and told me to go home.
8. The information is very disorganized. Everything relies on files from previous employees and emails. If the handover is unclear or you do not understand something, you have to search through the mailbox yourself.
9. Marketing means constantly reaching out to KOLs, sending them chips and paying them to make videos. The more videos there are, the happier the boss is, because that is how the Amazon business comes in; it also mainly relies on cold outreach. Once, they paid an overseas advertising agency several hundred thousand to run ads with no results, which scared them, so they do not know how to do marketing effectively either. You are free to come up with your own ideas, but there is barely any budget.
