Pros

Having a thank-you letter instead of a silent rejection counts as a plus, right?

Oh, and it also feels pretty quiet.

Cons

1. They send two people to interview you, and you might accept their “interrogation” just to get this opportunity, only to have your sincerity repaid with heartlessness in the end.

2. In fact, the other side made it very clear: the certifications you have are completely useless. Therefore, following up on point 1, the various pieces of information you volunteer about yourself may simply become lunch or afternoon-tea conversation topics, with no genuine interest at all—perhaps even secretly mocked with thoughts like, “How dare trash like you come interview at our prestigious bank?”

3. After joining, you have to wear a uniform, and you have to wear a tie when repairing computers. I can’t figure out whether I’m an engineer or a salesperson.

4. I don’t know whether, as in another review, the salary and benefits are not just a basic salary. However, they said you would probably receive about two months’ worth of year-end bonus, depending on whether they make a profit. Yet they simply won’t give you any opportunity to discuss the salary before ending the interview.

5. To follow up on point 4, they will say there is to be a second interview. However, this second interview may actually mean that you, this “leek,” aren’t tasty enough, so they are telling you to get lost and that you will never see them again. They will also ask about the salary at the interviewee’s previous job. I advise anyone going to the interview not to recklessly disclose it. Otherwise, when you see the job listing updated a few days after your interview, you’d better remember the salary range it stated when you applied, because I suspect they use interviews to gather information and adjust the upper and lower limits of the salary for that position.

6. Following up on point 5: since they can so brazenly and ruthlessly reveal the faces of both the employer and the bank—showing that they will shoot first and ignore you afterward, pulling their pants up and acting heartless—how can you believe you’ll be able to live peacefully there?
