The salary is paid on time, and there is a lot of overtime (if you want to work overtime because you need the money).
Although it is a networking equipment company, the internal operations on the production line are very traditional, and management is also extremely rigid. Some supervisors seem to live in their own world… (self-satisfied, perhaps?). The company basically relies on foreign workers, and most Taiwanese employees cannot stay for long (line supervisors use performance deductions to force people to work overtime). The production equipment is outdated, and many cables are covered with layer upon layer of tape (I don’t know whether this means the company is reluctant to spend money or considers it a virtue to be frugal). Departments often shift blame to one another, yet the division of responsibilities and authority is also unclear. It is a very strange company.
