捷南企業股份有限公司
Pros

Position applied for: Sales Representative.

The interview process was quite relaxed and casual. There was not much introduction to the company itself; instead, I was asked to raise any questions I had about the job.

Cons

I arrived on time on the day of the interview, but it took approximately 20 minutes before the woman responsible for the interview came out to meet me. She even confirmed with me whether the company had asked me to come for an interview. Speechless... They had clearly notified me to come for an interview only the previous morning. I replied that the proposed time worked for me, and they later emailed me to remind me to remember the interview time and to notify them in advance if I could not make it. The woman’s explanation was that their company’s service with the recruitment website had expired the day before, so they could not access the website that day to view my relevant information and were therefore unsure whether they had invited me for an interview...

Since the other party had made no preparations, and the entire interview process did not include much introduction to the company itself, I was simply asked to ask as many questions as possible about the company and the related position. Later, when they asked whether any of my previous work experience involved entertaining clients, the woman suddenly asked me to pause, stood up, and walked out of the office. A few minutes later, she brought in a colleague, without introducing his role, and then asked me to continue speaking. After I finished, the woman gestured to her colleague, who silently stood up and left the office... I really could not understand the purpose of this whole arrangement. This was the first time I had encountered a situation like this...

Later, when I asked about the salary offered for this position, the woman first asked about the salary at my previous job. After hearing it, she thought for a while and then said that, if I were hired, the company could offer the same starting salary. I could only think to myself: Even if you were to hire me, I probably would not want to—and would not dare to—join.

I felt that this company’s attitude toward work was rather casual (or careless), and even the interview involved a series of inexplicable situations and procedures. I advise anyone planning to interview here to be mentally prepared, so that they do not end up wasting their time and their life.
