The interviewer was disrespectful! Extremely rude!

I received an interview invitation from “悅以國際股份有限公司” through 104. When I arrived at the indicated floor, I couldn’t find an office with the company’s name. After calling to ask, I learned that it was the office with boxes piled up at the entrance; there was no sign at the door.

After I entered and explained the purpose of my visit, a young, cute girl very politely asked me to wait briefly at the entrance while she went to get someone. The gender-neutral-presenting woman who walked over with her was not wearing a mask, had a very unpleasant expression, and rudely told me to go into the meeting room she led me to. The meeting room was even smaller than the individual restroom stalls in a metro station, filled with boxes and miscellaneous items, and the table was extremely dirty. Up to this point, I was still keeping my composure.

After I had waited in the meeting room for about five minutes, a casually dressed woman with a side ponytail entered. Her hands were empty; she had only brought her phone. She did not introduce herself at all, and her appearance and attitude did not resemble those of an interviewer!

I had brought my résumé, so I proactively handed it to her. This woman did not let me introduce myself at all. She simply looked at my résumé and asked the questions she wanted to ask, such as, “Can you do planning?” and “Can you coordinate with KOLs?” She only asked about five questions in total, and all of them were already answered on my résumé! After asking what she wanted to ask, she said, “Okay, we’ll probably notify you of the result in about a week.” I was dumbfounded. The whole process took less than five minutes, didn’t it?! She also did not explain the job duties, the company’s benefits, or anything else!

I immediately asked her about it. She only replied, “The job duties are the same as what’s written on 104. As for the benefits, ask HR when they call you,” and then hurriedly ushered me out!

What an incredibly rude experience! The interview lasted only five minutes?! I traveled from Taoyuan, spending time and transportation costs, yet the interviewer treated it so casually! The worst part is that they were the ones who sent the interview invitation! Did they not read my résumé at all?! Absolutely terrible!

After I left, the more I thought about it, the more something seemed wrong! Before entering, when I called to ask for the company’s location, the phone recording identified the company as “品辰傳媒股份有限公司,” but the company that invited me to the interview was “悅以國際股份有限公司.” I immediately Googled it and found that both are indeed in the Huashi Building. Regardless, the point is that the interviewer’s attitude was absolutely awful! Completely terrible!
