You can genuinely learn about scalp knowledge

Cons

1. The manager does not know how to lead people, works extremely slowly, and holds a large number of meaningless meetings

2. Colleagues do not respect people or professionalism at all; they can call you an idiot right in front of the manager

3. They deliberately make things difficult and do not treat your clients as clients, always putting them at the very bottom of the company’s priorities and treating customers who trust the company like idiots

4. To save a little money, they create a whole series of blunders and then tell sales staff to clean up the mess, exhausting the trust that sales staff worked so hard to build

5. Returning to the issue of colleagues: they expect sales staff to understand every department’s work, make time for everything, and know everything. Then they criticize sales staff for asking stupid questions and say they do not want to answer or help handle them

6. When workplace bullying is reported to superiors, the only response is excuses such as, “You would encounter this at another company too”

7. The workplace is extremely disrespectful of everyone’s expertise; everyone constantly questions one another and no one trusts each other at all

8. To save a little money, they often have to redo work or spend even more time making up for it, then push the blame onto someone else and make matters worse

9. From the owner to the managers, they are all masters of painting rosy pictures. They call giving you new work a challenge, ask you to accept new tasks as a form of training, and even say that others would love to have these opportunities

10. Sales staff have to maintain customer relationships that have been damaged, constantly clean up messes that keep appearing, and develop new clients. The company thinks it is so impressive that it can pick and choose its customers, but the reality is the opposite: customers do not even think highly of the company

In short, by the end, this company will make you feel that the only thing it has brought to your life is harm.

I worked in sales for more than a year without receiving a single cent in bonuses, which is almost laughable. The manager deliberately lowered project prices and the MOQ, then said that sales staff not being able to receive bonuses was their own problem. It takes at least half a year from initial development to project approval; apparently, other people’s time does not matter. Waiting for the manager means waiting three weeks, with absolutely no initiative. If you pressure colleagues about deadlines, they will scold you for causing too much pressure. There are often sudden clapping situations that you must join in with or you will receive hostile looks; monthly meetings are basically large-scale cult gatherings. Their claim that they are a B Corp is just an illusion; the good treatment of employees exists only in words.

You are also required to go hiking and take photos to create a healthy corporate image, hold banners while shouting various slogans, and then return to the office to work overtime and finish the tasks.

It is completely normal to visit three clients in central and southern Taiwan in one day. Even when you are exhausted, the manager will still use remarks such as, “What makes you think this company is suitable for Meiko?” to suppress any possibility of discussion. Then everyone from senior management down to the managers thinks their company is highly superior and everyone else is worthless.
