可夫萊食品股份有限公司
Pros

1. Good relationships among colleagues

2. Plenty of food options nearby

3. Parking lot available

4. Overtime pay can be applied for

Cons

1. It is a family-owned business. The supervisor should be here to manage the company properly, but instead, decisions are constantly changed again and again, becoming more and more chaotic. Then, they blame frontline employees for being too slow.

2. In meetings, they always say, “Don’t work overtime; you should go out and have fun while you’re young.” Yet they love finding things for us to do when there is nothing else to do. There is a mountain of work, and they still interfere pointlessly. Working overtime two or three hours every day is the norm.

3. Meaningless meetings are held every week. Meetings always involve reporting progress because the supervisor does not keep track of things independently and is not even very good at operating a computer. They constantly demand that employees produce files in the exact format they have in mind before they are satisfied.

4. During holiday seasons, working overtime every day is the norm. Employees may be assigned to prepare gift boxes, and they say shipments must follow a specific order. However, the supervisor’s own purchases or gifts are always given top priority and jump the queue.

5. There is no complete handover process—only a single handover checklist. The person taking over must bear responsibility for mistakes made by the previous employee. They only tell you, “I’m dealing with the person responsible now. As for the previous mistakes, you have to solve them????”

6. Everything, big or small, must be reported to the supervisor. You may receive calls after work or during holidays, and if you do not answer, they will still demand that you call back. You have to be extremely careful and clear in what you say; otherwise, your words can easily be taken out of context and you may be accused of faults that do not exist.
