Pros

During the interview, they painted an overly rosy picture: the internal office work was described as simple, involving only answering calls and assigning basic work orders, with no sales pressure.

Cons

Only after actually starting and undergoing job training did I discover that the work was completely different from what I had imagined. I sincerely advise you not to be misled by what they say in the interview.

1. There are far too many and overly complicated group chats: You have to join 30 or 40 groups. I was even advised on the spot to get a company phone (using your own money—even a few hundred dollars is still money).

2. The procedures are cumbersome: After making a call, you have to report it in several groups. You are constantly warned that you will be scolded if you post in the wrong group, and the work is not as simple as described during the interview. Oh, and they also say that if they notice you haven't answered calls for a while, you'll be scolded 0.0. With procedures that complicated, who can immediately answer the next call right after finishing one?

3. The supervisor apparently has emotional-control issues: This point was repeatedly emphasized as a “preemptive warning” during training :)

4. Bizarre job duties: You are expected to memorize the administrative divisions of every area in Taiwan (super! bizarre!), then use Google Maps to look up the locations of water dispenser installations and the distances between them == It really doesn't seem like something customer service should have to do.... Such a stupid method.

5. There is some sales involved, but no performance bonus: Customer service staff don't compete with technicians for sales credit, but they do need to “sell contracts,” and it doesn't count toward their own performance @@

6. You have to pay for mistakes: You must manually transcribe “prices,” and if you enter one incorrectly, you have to cover the price difference yourself 0.0. One position is responsible for checking whether customer service entered the prices correctly. What's strange is that if the price is wrong, customer service bears full responsibility, while the person responsible for checking bears none. There is also no subsequent mechanism for customer service to remedy the situation or apologize to the customer—they can only pay the money directly.
