Can listen to the radio while at work?
The bad habits typical of small and medium-sized businesses are probably all here. Within about three days of starting, I realized they expected me to know how to do everything. The boss and the boss's wife have bad tempers and put a lot of pressure on people. The coworkers are actually okay, but the handovers are chaotic. There is no honeymoon period for new employees—you're thrown straight into the deep end. On top of that, you have to serve as the person on duty, answer the main phone line, take out the trash, clean, and so on. Overtime goes without saying (it seems no one reports overtime anymore; maybe it's converted into a bonus for you?). I left before it was my turn to deal with all that. The atmosphere at work is tense. I don't think it's very suitable for fresh graduates, who could easily be crushed by it. Although the situations mentioned above can also happen at large companies, large companies at least have more to support employees with; they at least pay overtime. That's beside the point, though. It may also be that I place more importance on the workplace atmosphere, so I felt that a boss or supervisor who constantly lashes out was not a good fit for me. I resigned not long afterward. Maybe I'm just too sensitive, but if you want to join, think it through carefully before coming. If you live nearby, have previously done even worse jobs, have a very high tolerance for pressure, and have nowhere else to turn, then give it a try.
