None at all.
I once worked as a security guard at this company, but I resigned after just over a month because I encountered so many frustrating things.
My supervisor kept desperately trying to make me stay, saying that resigning required me to submit a resignation form and that I couldn't simply leave.
I said, “Okay, then let's arrange a time for me to go to the company and fill out the resignation form.” But that supervisor simply refused to let me leave and kept trying to persuade me to stay.
The supervisor then told another manager, who directly threatened me, saying that if I didn't stay a few more days, they would send me a certified legal notice.
I said that since I had worked for less than three months, I wasn't required to give advance notice in the first place. That manager actually replied that the security industry was not subject to the Labor Standards Act?
In the end, they really wouldn't let me fill out the resignation form and sent me a certified legal notice saying that I had been absent without leave and would be dismissed in accordance with the law?
It was absolutely awful!!
