You can tell during the interview that you won't want to work for this company.
Had to wait a long time
They really want to know the exact “number” of your salary at your previous job
The compensation published on the job bank was NT$28,000–50,000
But the manager said apprentices only get a little over NT$10,000 according to the regulations
They don't even seem to understand the minimum wage under the Labor Standards Act
(According to Paragraph 1, Article 21 of the Labor Standards Act, although wages may be agreed upon by both the employer and the employee, they may not be lower than the basic wage. As for the basic wage set by the government, the monthly basic wage is NT$24,000.)
The manager conducting the interview seemed as if they had been forced to come
Impatient, yawning, and not even wearing a mask
They talked in circles without getting to the point
I was supposed to be interviewing, but ended up listening to the manager talk about their own experiences
It turned into a reverse-interview situation
