Small companies are great for newcomers to hone their skills (when there are experienced senior colleagues around). When I joined, I happened to encounter a wave of resignations.
I heard they recently launched a takeoff plan and received an injection of funding, so they’ve been partnering with quite a few new brands.
The media team is mainly responsible for ad placements, coordinating with agencies or direct clients, and preparing reports is a basic skill. From time to time, the manager buys afternoon tea, and there’s also a snack cabinet. The company is a little far from the MRT station, but YouBike makes it fairly convenient.
Usually, you’re expected to work overtime occasionally (the manager seems to think that working overtime is simply part of the job).
The manager takes turns singling people out every so often and has made sarcastic remarks about people in front of everyone.
The manager comes from an AE background, so they don’t understand the practical aspects of ad operations. You have to ask senior colleagues or figure things out yourself.
