1. Nice interviewer
2. Video interview
1.
After the interview, you have to proactively follow up on what happens next. For anything at all, you have to ask—and then keep chasing, chasing, chasing.
2.
After sending an offer letter, even when you reply to accept the offer, they still put pressure on you about the start date.
The company then pretends you don't exist and won't tell you when you can actually start. After that, the entire position was gone—presumably because of the emails pressuring them for an update.
This alone is enough to skip this company entirely. They send an offer but can't even provide a start date?
I had also confirmed that there was an opening and a project. In the end, when they decided they didn't want you to start, they simply told you the project had been delayed, so the position was gone.
Do they think everyone has endless time?

The salary offered in Taipei is $35,000 for an engineer, with no on-site assignment. The salary adjustment and performance review policies are unclear, and I didn't ask about the annual salary.
4.
You have to provide your own laptop, with a monthly subsidy of 1,000.
As if paying peanuts to hire monkeys weren't enough, they also expect the monkeys to pick their own bananas.
An IT company can't even provide equipment for an internal position and instead requires employees to bring their own. They plainly just want disposable labor; the turnover rate is probably sky-high.
Summary:
These processes alone show that the entire company is extremely disorganized, to the point that some people seem able to wield unchecked power.
They let you get hired whenever they feel like it, then later they can just tell you the project was delayed and pretend there was never an opening.
A small company opening a bunch of positions at the same time—after interviewing with several companies, you'll recognize these as the amazing Pokémon companies that dispatch workers everywhere to clean up other people's messes.
Oh, but unless you really need a job, there's no need to waste your time.
Because even if you fight tooth and nail to get an offer, you still might not be allowed to start. ^_^
