台灣無印良品股份有限公司
Pros

Employee purchases are a good deal

A very small number of colleagues are genuinely nice

Cons

The veterans put on airs all day. They’re just specialists, yet they think they can order other people around and treat them like their assistants—without even knowing their own limitations. It’s laughable. They clearly promote not working overtime and turn off the lights when the workday ends, yet they target you and say that not working overtime means you’re not a team player and deserve it. The manager talks as if someone owes him two million dollars. Once they become a manager, they act like an emperor. You’re a salaried employee too, okay? You’re just another company-raised livestock, after all. Don’t you feel ashamed standing on a high horse and exploiting your other colleagues? They even abuse their personal authority to pressure teammates in the same group to accompany them to meals and social engagements. You can’t even tell whether they came to work or to be drinking companions—and they don’t even have to pay for their own drinks. This completely violates the partner oath and shows no respect for others. Although they’re a team member, they treat people coldly, while putting on a fake show of friendliness and team spirit in front of senior management all day. The outstanding people at this brand are the ones in Japan. Taiwan is just a laughable half-hearted imitation that copies the surface; at its core, it’s just as bad as ordinary Taiwanese companies. You can’t learn anything there—only endure endless exploitation. Staying even one more second is a waste of time.
